How Do You Want Your Printout, Regular or Decaf?
Nothing goes better with office work than coffee. Jeon Hwan Ju knows this and submitted the truly clever RITI printer into Core 77's Greener Gadgets competition.
The concept is simple: why not put your used coffee grounds to work? Text and images come out brown, there's no escaping that, but I can see its utility for checklists and memos that don't require mailing or the super crisp laser printer treatment.
I wouldn't print out my resume with it, but it sure beats forking over a small fortune for ink or toner. That, and you're only a pot of coffee away from more ink. The only downside is the manual aspect of it, which requires you to manually swipe the print head/ink reservoir back and forth.
And for the record: regular.
